Polarion’s latest update: Focus on ease of use and integrations
In Polarion Days 2022, Polarion’s Product Manager Zdenek Fiedler spoke about the latest update and how Polarion will evolve. Main focus is on user-friendliness and integrations that make Polarion easier and faster to use.
Customer feedback is the basis for Polarion’s latest updates
Zdenek talked about different areas that Polarion has developed recently, including an ecosystem that enables development and traceability without you having to leave your context. License monitoring was the most requested feature from Polarion users, and now that feature is available. Performance is increased and Polarion has focused on agile systems engineering that enables scalability and functionality. Polarion has very engaged users who provide continuous feedback, which is the basis for many of the updates that we now see in Polarion.
As products become increasingly complex and teams grow, it requires a smart solution for flexibility and scalability. Polarion solves companies’ challenges when it comes to traceability, something that is crucial when it comes to highly regulated industries, such as the automotive, pharmaceutical or aerospace.
Faster and more complex development
Zdenek explained that as development is happening faster and faster in most industries, it is easy to lose focus. Therefore Polarion is needed to be able to go back, troubleshoot and make sure that you are on the right track. In regulated industries, there are requirements to retrieve information along the way to authorities, among other things, and this enables Polarion in a simple way.
“There are many different industries, where Polarion is relevant. It ables you to adapt to very specific needs and processes. The common things for all industries that need Polarion is requirements for traceability, support for agile work, and being able to offer end-to-end evidence for all affected teams. You get all this with Polarion,” says Zdenek.
Polarion is a tool that is easy to implement and start up. At first you may not use all the functions, but the tool is easy to scale up and adapt completely to the company’s conditions. All teams can collaborate effectively and communicate directly in the tool.
